Our Safeguarding Children Training course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and confidence to recognise and respond to concerns about a child’s safety and wellbeing.

Ideal for those working in education, childcare, healthcare, and community settings, this course highlights the importance of early intervention and the role everyone plays in protecting children from harm.

Through practical guidance and real-life scenarios, participants will learn how to identify signs of abuse, respond appropriately to disclosures, and follow correct safeguarding procedures in line with current legislation and best practice.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Understand what safeguarding children means and why it is essential

  • Recognise the roles and responsibilities of those working with children

  • Understand key safeguarding principles and child protection processes

Responding to Concerns:

  • How to respond to a child making a disclosure
