Our Basic First Aid Training course equips individuals with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to respond confidently in emergency situations. Designed for workplaces, community groups, and individuals, this hands-on course focuses on life-saving techniques, quick decision-making, and effective care until professional help arrives.

Delivered by experienced instructors in an engaging and supportive environment, this course ensures participants leave feeling capable, prepared, and empowered to make a real difference when it matters most.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider

  • Assess an emergency situation safely and effectively

  • Perform Primary Survey (DRSABC approach)

  • Administer CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

  • Use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

  • Place a casualty in the recovery position

Managing Injuries:

  • Control bleeding (minor and severe)

  • Treat burns and scalds

  • Manage fractures, sprains, and strains

  • Handle head injuries

  • Medical Emergencies:

  • Recognise and respond to choking

  • Deal with heart attacks

  • Identify signs of stroke

  • Manage seizures

  • Respond to asthma attacks

  • Treat allergic reactions (including anaphylaxis)

Additional Topics:

  • Infection control and hygiene

  • Contents and use of a first aid kit

  • Recording and reporting incidents

Practical Sessions:

  • Hands-on CPR practice, Recovery position

  • Scenario-based emergency simulations
